Electro Harmonix tubes?????

Sup guys, I was just wondering if anyone else around here has tried Electro Harmnix tubes in thier Boogie? I had my DR in all EHX tubes (EL34, 12AX7, 5UG4B) it is sounded AWSOME!!! When I got the RK i wanted to try something different so I went for JJ's in the whole amp. It sounds better but I want to see what EHX tube will do with this amp. So has anybody else tried them? All i see and read about around here is either Mesa or JJ tubes.

I use them for power tubes....tightens the recto up so much

EH 12ax7's
groove tubes 6l6's
and mesa boogie rectifier tubes

I've heard horror stories about EH tubes on a gibson site. I wouldn't buy them.

The 12AX7 EH isn't bad... quiet but a little lifeless in V1. The Tung-Sol 12AX7 is much better. For your power tubes, the SED =C= in the 6L6 or the EL-34 are the best out there right now. I tried the JJ 6L6 and hated them. Not very smooth at all. The JJ EL-84's are really nice though in my Nomad 45.
