Is your IIC+ simul LOUD in "Class A" Mode?

Just want to clarify guys if you don't mind...the simul-class IIC+ is 100 watts when using all four tubes and only 15 watts when using the outer two? I thought when you switched to the outer two it went to 60 watts? I'm looking to get another Boogie (I've got a Studio Series), and I want one...

Is it safe to run the Mark III 8 ohm into a marshall 16 ohm?

What a coincidence, I tried this just tonight with my Studio Series (Studio 22)...I didn't notice much difference in the sound, but I did notice that the amp didn't blow up, so I guess it's OK!

    Dual Calibers

Man, all this is great to read...I've got a Studio Series (similar to the .22) 1X12 and I've been totally digging it, but I need more control over the two channels...this led me to the DC series, and specifically the DC-3. It's great to hear you all raving about these amps, 'cause I've got my...

Mark IV output knob vs. master volume

Man, this is great, thanks for all the input guys. It's only been recently that I've come to realize the kind of distortion/overdrive sound I keep wanting to hear is the power tubes, not the preamp (although those are being pushed as well)...it happened when I was playing my SF Vibrochamp and I...

Mark IV output knob vs. master volume

Great guys, thanks alot! Yeah, it's hard to really get to hear that power amp in the store when you're trying it out...and I noticed that when the guys there show me the amp, they have that output knob VERY low, like 2 or 3. Anyway, thanks again...guess I'll just have to buy one :) to really...

Mark IV output knob vs. master volume

Guys, hopefully this isn't a totally lame question, but I was wondering if any of you can tell me how the outupt knob works in relation to the master volume knobs, and how this works with the power section. In other words, I like the sound of the power tubes being overdriven...can I get that...

Mark IIC+ with two power tubes?

Thanks for the reply Boogiebabies...actually, I'm not a big metal fan, so that won't be a problem. I've got a Studio Series right now and I'm having a blast with it (even though I still can't figure out my volume drop problem)...I'm new to these Boogies, and I'm totally digging tweeking the...

Mark IIC+ with two power tubes?

Thanks for the reply. He's got a close-up of the serial number and it clearly shows 12588. And yeah, I'll ask him if he's got any paper work to see what was done. Thanks again. Tom

Mark IIC+ with two power tubes?

Hey guys, I just bid on this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7363611815&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBI%3AIT&rd=1 I've never heard of one (I'm somewhat new to the Boogie thing) with just two power tubes...I thought all the Mark series had 4. Any info/thoughts on this amp would...

    Studio Series volume drop out

Hello all. I've got a Studio Series and I'm having a problem with the volume in the lead channel...while I'm playing, there will be a sudden drop in volume--not all the way off or even half, just a "lowering" of the volume, then it will come back to full volume. It does this randomly, as if...

    Studio Series

Just bought my first Mesa Boogie, a Studio Series, off Ebay. Mark, I'll double check it, but I believe my serial number is "SS149". So far I haven't really tried the amp out yet, it came to me a little messed up, had to take it to the shop...the drive channel was screwed up and the EQ toggle...
