Does anyone know if running only two 6V6's is okay? I only have two to try out. I've never heard of bypassing the mojo box, but John Phillips has done some pretty indepth reseach on preamp tube substitution which really does work to reduce hum dramatically. I ran mine as per his suggestions but ended up back with all 12Ax7'S. The hum doesn't really bother me on mine.

LSC went back, Heartbreaker is on the fence and the BA isn't going anywhere.

I ended up passing on the LS, in the end I prefered the HB just a little more. I really wish it was a combo though.

BTW, I'm mainly a roots/Americana style player, not too distorted but definitely on the greasy side of clean.
