    Attenuator and Mark II

Thanks BB, I'll give that a shot. I'm actually taking delivery of a Tremoverb on Wednesday, so I may go the dual amp route. Do you like the C+ for the lead tone generally? I suppose I could use the Tremoverb for the clean and modern high gain tones and the C+ for the more classic sound.

    Attenuator and Mark II

Anyone ever use one with their combo? I have a IIC+ and I really can't get a great sound unless it's really loud (master around 3 or so). Generally the lead channel sounds pretty buzzy at low volumes. I'd like to let it rip, but I'm not playing Madison Square Garden any time soon so I thought...

    Am I nuts?

Went the tremoverb route and am keeping the C+. Should be here on Wednesday. I think I have enough stuff to sell to cover the cost :) Full report after I have a chance to fire it up. Thanks to all for the replies.

    Speaker repair question

Have the 200 watt EV that originally came in my IIC+ - I replaced it about a year ago after I noticed it had a tear toward the outer part of the cone. Can I just use a little glue to repair the tear? I suppose I can always get it reconed later, just don't want to spend the cash now. Thanks.

    Am I nuts?

How about a used rect-o-verb or trem-o-verb? Anyone have experience with those? If I were to keep the II, financially that's probably the way I'd have to go.

    Mark III Wattage???

The simul-class models are 15 watts in class A and 85 watts in the simul-class mode. The 100 watt models with four 6L6s can (always I think) be switched to 60 watts by cutting power to the outer tubes.

    IIC+ Bias Question

I'm still in the (very) early learning stages of all this tech stuff so please pardon me if it seems like I have no idea what I'm talking about (generally it's b/c I don't. . .). Anyway, I'd like to put a couple of RCA Blackplates in my IIC+. I know you can't change the bias without a slight...

    Best mesa cab

I had no idea they made hardwood 4x12s. Where would one procure such a thing of beauty if one were so inclined and what the going rate be if one were so lucky to find one?

Help me ID my unlabeled speaker!

Hey Bill, Thanks for the heads up! Sounds like it's an Eminence, but I have no way of telling what it's rated for. The amp is 60 watts so I assume it's safe for the amp (maybe 90 watts?). Is there a way to tell from the code? Did you ever have any luck with contacting Eminence?

Help me ID my unlabeled speaker!

Pulled it out of a Mark IIB I just bought. Large letter code on left says E12SP. Smaller cose to the right says 121674A and then below says 67-00110:04 then G2. Frame is black and there are 8 mounting holes. Any ideas? Thanks.
