Alright i got a Marshall 1960AV, for a sick deal. My Mk III is sounding good with the V30's, but they don't seem as aggresive/raw as the greenbacks. I feel the GB'S have more character to them. I feel the V30's are maybe a little bit cleaner/articulate in some ways? I think i prefer the GB...

I sold my Over Sized recto cab for a marshall with greenbacks I think its much more articulate and the bass doesn't sound all sloppy. I setup my recto to the best posible and although it didnt sound bad I feel the cabinet was holding the recto head back from its "best" sound in my opinion.

I just realized my Mark III has 10% more gain in the R2 then the stock ones cause of the mod ( C++ modded) I did notice that it was somewhat close to the lead but not quite(as far as how much gain it has) I was thinking of maybe using it during the recording for a more marshall crunchy type...
