Yep the prices are going to increase on Feb 1 or there abouts. Judging from the increase on the 5:25 it looks to be ~17% increase.

The Lonestar is great for what it does but I repeatedly find myself wanting a high gain lead sound, which the Lonestar will never do to suit my tastes.

I use an Ernie Ball volume pedal. While it certainly isn't "boutique" it suits my needs just fine. They seem to last forever.

The way my local dealer explained it to me is... you must get the original sales receipt in order to have any warranty work performed on the amp. I have not called Boogie to verify this but it seems logical to me.

I tried a few different guitars when I was looking for an acoustic. I settled on the Martin D-16GTE. I am very happy with it, except for the fact that I never play it. In fact just reading the topic of this thread made me remember it's stashed under the bed.

I use 10' George L's and I have to admit that I hate them with much passion. I am always having to re-seat the cable with one of the ends...on all 3 of the George L cables that I have. Maybe it's user error...but I tend to just grab a cable & plug it in. I don't wanna have to get a degree in...

On the Mark IV does the pentode/triode switch affect all 4 power tubes or just the 2 class A tubes? And does anyone know if you can still order one with an EVM speaker from the factory? From what I can tell the Mark IV will most likely be my next gigging amp.

I guess if the channels are that dependant on each other, then I should look into a Mark IV. Thanks for the input guys.

I haven't had the chance to play or hear a mkIII since the 80's. I remember the love I had for these amps back then. I am really tempted to pick up another mkIII as well as another IIc+ over the next couple of months. BUT...I don't want to base my equipment decisions soley on my 20+ year old...

I am curious as to how this would sound compared to the other stripes when in Simulclass mode. Does the increased ratio of classA to classAB change the sound very much? I'd be inclined to think it would be a major difference but I have never heard a green stripe in person.

green stripe is 25watts in class A I think.
