what does el-34's do to the dual rects tone, i hear some people say that the dual rect should come with el-34's. i understand the sound el-34's put out i have had them in several amps but not my dual rect. how does the dual rect respond to them.

i say there are no cons to a two amp rig if that is what you like. if your tone comes from a two amp rig why settle for anything less. so what if you have to carry a couple more things in the long run your tone will be awesome.

i agree (prepares for extremly hot temperatures) my dual rect sounds good at low volumes but you have to dial it in for the volume change, i don't use the same settings cranked as i do for low settings.

the rc booster, klon centaur, full tone has good boost pedal, the hughes and kettner tube factor is nice it has build in pre amp tube so it gives you true tube boost, i use that it is real nice but really expensive

yeah i had problems with getting mine to work, it's just like Supertgtr said make sure the mesa effects knobs are turned up, and your g-major input and out knobs are tunred up. but what is the problem if you can tell me that i can probbably help you a little better? are the effects just not...

i had a 94 2 ch dual rect and got rid of it for a 3 ch dual rect i thought the older model was to compressed, and had more fuzzy than the newer dual rect. the newer dual rect seems to be cleaner than the older one. this is my opinion.

i'm not goin to comment on tone but my buddy has one and that amp has given him more trouble than any other amo he has owned and more trouble than i've seen an amp give somebody. he is always havin problems with it

can some one explain how to slave to amps together. does the amp that is being used as the power amp does it require a "dummy load" another speaker cabinet? and are there alot of problems associated with doing this?

can you guys explain how to slave amps together. i called mesa to see if i could do this and they said it couldn't be done. i would like to do this with my soldano hot rod 50+ and my dual rectifier.

thanks for the reply and input i've been thinking about trading my rectifier in for a mark IV, i ahven't gotten around to test drive one yet and thought i would see what i was getten myself into before went down to test drive one. any other opinions are greatly welcomed
