I have a rockerverb and a roadster, there both very different beasts, the orange naturally has a british slightly harsher sound, its a very lively amp and feels really dynamic under the fingers if you get me, its fabulous to play although the clean channel is a bit pants but takes pedals well...

So I brought my roadster to Aus from the UK pretty unscathed except for developing a loud swirly crackle, I changed the preamps one at a time to try and find a culprit but everything was ok, having pencil tested the power tubes the middle 6L6 pair crackle on tapping, so I guess they didn't...

those IRW necks are stunning, a custom 22 or 24 with one is on my radar big time. The roadster/prs partnership sounds completely stunning imo. Hope you get sorted.

I like the voicing of the 6V6 based 50 watter, the 100 ships with EL34's but you can change them, plus Orange had a black 50 watter in stock, non stock colours are a minimum 6 week wait.

anyone any experience of these guitars, I heard they can be a bit bright, are they a good match with mesa amps? I mostly use les pauls currently and kinda like that type of tone.
