Hey guys,

Just put this together today as another scratch track to see if the band likes it. I named it "The Rocker" because it was the movie that happened to be on when I tabbed it out haha.

Gibson Les Paul Classic -> DC5 -> Genz Benz 2x12

Comments much appreciated. I usually write on the progressive side. This is probably the darkest and heaviest thing I've ever written. It reminds me of something off Seasons of the Abyss.

Thanks,
Zed

It's an excellent 2x12 if you put V30's in it. The genz benz customs recorded great, but the V30s really made it shine in comparison.

I'm going to re-record this when I get my roadster and orange 412 back in my studio. 90% of my gear is all packed up for the road and weekends and stuff :(

I loaded mine with V30's long ago and find them to be nice for the application when used as a backing cab. I modded the cab some years ago with a 45 across the inside top and a center rear-mounted baffle (ala Mills Acoustics) to help it out a bit. In my enclosed 2X12 cabs I actually prefer Swamp Things over the V30's due to the heavier bottom end and slightly subdued mids.

Bump for update

Re-recorded with Mesa Roadster, TS808, Orange PPC412, Nova Delay, and MXR EQ.
