I recently saw pictures of Zakk's setup in the studio, but I can't seem to find them. Mostly pictures of his head and amp that he records with. If anyone knows where I can find them or send the link that would be great. Thanx!!!

i tried searching google and stuff. sorry. just search around online you are bound to find it.

i imagine it wouldnt be much more that a couple of marshall heads, some wah, rotovibe, flanger pedals and misc stuff and a bunch of LP and beer lol

Cudbucket is the Marshall man on here. He'll probably know. I'd imagine that Zakk uses his sig model JCM 800 ZW model, his dunlop wah, andhis gibby LP's with EMG-81/85 p/u set. As for cabs, I'm not sure what speakers he uses but I think they are EV-Zakk Wylde customs (loaded into JCM 900 cabs)

i recently read an interview on monster cable's website with zakk. he talked about his rig, albeit just the basics. he did mention that he uses standard jcm 800s...no mods. hope this helps some.

dont know if this is still relevant to anyone but....

Zakk still uses old JCM 800's, he says he buys them used from people, they were built well back then, (plus id imagine he can get them fixed easily) they are modded though to run 6550 tubes, thats the main sound. Now he uses a marshall 4x12 with the signature speakers you can now buy on musicians friend http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ElectroVoice-EVM12L-Black-Labe-Speaker?sku=302002

nick cantonese (i think thats his name) the other guitarist in Black label society, uses the zakk wylde signature model marshall.. zakk does not.

obviously zakk uses gibson less pauls with emgs in them.. and if you read any interviews with him, he will yell at anyone, any producer, that tells him to try a different guitar or different amp to get a tone for a part of the song. "its an F'n les paul through an f'n marshall"

the man likes his tone.. no compromise.

oh and effects.. he used to use the boss super overdrive sd-1, but has the mxr sig pedal now. uses either a ch-3 or ch5 (something like that) boss chorus, and has the dunlop rotovibe pedal, as well now his own sig wah pedal. plus he's got some mean classical and country chops... doesn't play legato style much.
