Your opinion on C90's and Mark V

I think I found someone to trade me two C90's for two of my V30's.

It would make my cab very similar to a Roadking cab, but all closed back. Any of you play a V through a C90 speaker(s)? And this may be a shot in the dark, but any of you play through a Roadking cab?

I prefer C90s to V30s with the V, I have cabs with both.

I think having a mix of both is ideal.

The V30 covers the more mid range kind of stuff while the C90 excels at high and low end.

Win win.

The c90 is just a slightly modified classic lead 80......a very neutral speaker that doesn't really have any boosts or cuts....but it isn't for everyone. personally i use the c90 for everything from my Recto to my modeling amp.

I have two 1x12 cabs; one has V30 the other has C90.
The combination is really good.

The V30 cab is sealed and ported to boost low end however.
The C90 cab is open back. I use them with my Ace mainly but they work great with my other amps, too.

Haha, na I'm alright. Thanks for your input. It assures me a little more that they may sound great in the same cab together.

Thanks for your input as well. The deal didn't go through with the trade, so I may just try to sell two V30's, and/or make a thread looking to trade. Not in a huge rush, because it's not like the cab sounds bad.
