Hey gang -

I'm changing my set up a bit, so instead of having so many extra cabs around, I'm going to switch to combos for smaller shows....

I run two amps at all times (one for clean, one for dirty), so ideally I'd be looking for two combos that look much the same (for aesthetics!!).

I'm looking for TWO M/B combos.... Rectos, Nomads, Marks, F-series; etc....

I've GOT:

  • Orange AD30 head - MINT - Class A - KILLER

Mesa 2X12 cab - Two 90 Watt Black Shadows - MINT

    Mesa 2X12 cab - Vintage Celestion 30's - MINT

Mesa 2X10 slanted cab w/ port - RARE - meant for bass , but great for a "back atcha" monitor - never used live. Sounds killer! VERY rare!!

Gibson Explorer - Gothic - MINT - w/ OHSC - Rare and out of production!!

I will consider buying straight up any good offers on combos if you don't like my trade bait.....

Let me know!

Thanks!

Lance

Hey Lance,
Could you tell me how tall that 2x12 with the Vintage 30s is....and how much do you want for it.
I would like to add a second 2x12 to my rig, but I am not sure I can fit it in my car with the Gflex I already have. It may actually be more compact for me to get a 4x12. Harder to carry on my own though :(

Thanks,
Pete

I'm going to take some pictures tonite, and post them up ASAP.

The 2X12's are both immaculate!

The Vintage Cab is just amazing!! It's a 3/4 back, and at around 17 x 26 x 12 (it's smaller than a 2 x 12 Mesa Recto Close back cabinet).

E-mail me at lookslikemeband at yahoo dot com if you're interested in talking shop!!!

Lance,
I was actually thinking more along the lines of a closed back cab. I play modern rock and the closed cabs usually work better to keep things tight and punchy. I'll give it some thought though. A 3/4 might actually compliment my ported Gflex that has a pretty thumpin low end. With the Mesa cab dimensions I think I could transport both in my trunk too.

Thanks!

I thought the same thing. I play modern rock myelf - Hey! I'm a Boogie Fan!

But these cabs REALLY do sing. They're tight but allow your chord work to remain clear.

I have 6 cabs right now... And I want two combos to have a "portable" rig for smaller gigs.... That's the only reason I'm selling them.... Just an FYI.

Here are some pics of some of my gear to sell....
