WTB Palmer PGA 04 Loadbox OR line 6 POD X3

What to buy for home recording Palmer PGA 04 Loadbox for Dual rectifier OR line 6 POD X3? I can`t use a microphone for DR because usually record at night.

Neither! lol. Actually, go for the PDI 03. I think it's related to the 04, but from everything I have read, it is much better. The quality of the recordings I've heard on it are simply unbelievable. Sounds just like a perfectly mic'd cabinet.

i have several posts here of late, with examples of the Palmer PDI-09, which is the same circuit as the Palmer PDI-03, minus the load box part.

i bought a weber mass lite for the load.
still cheaper (by half) than a full blown pdi03....
just food for thought.
