He is *thinking* of trading up for a Roadster. You might be able to convince him . . . maybe. I also have a Rev F blackface etc but I really don't want to part with it. (First tube amp, etc) About the only way I *Might* be convinced is for an Electra Dyne head, but even then, that is pushing it!

Have you considered a tremoverb? Especially if its just the sound of a two-channel you're looking for? I own both a tremoverb head and a Revision E Dual Rectifier. They sound exactly the same. Only difference is that the tremoverb wins in a clean channel comparison. I'm actually selling my tremoverb head for this reason (don't need to worry about a clean channel)--and some others.

This isn't a black face, it's a chrome face but also has the chrome chassis (so it still looks cool), but it's available if you're interested. It's a Revision F.

You should get this one. If you are worried about the chrome front, just take it off and get it powder coated!!
