Never thought a cab could make such a difference but after plugging the MarkV to the Recto cab which arrived today and playing my musicman guitar through it, it just roared as I never thought it could!!

Outstanding sound and just so TIGHT is insane!!!

I had an interesting experimentation night. I took my roadster and flipped all of the switches to 100W mode instead of 50 watts. I was always concerned with the volume and didn't want to blow out anyone's eardrums. Since I recently started playing with an attenuator, I figured why not; I can just dial it back little. It completely opened up the amp. Must more crisp and sharp. Just a little tweak to the settings and it was a whole new amp. I liked my roadster a lot, but tonight I realized how good that amp really is. Even thought it's not a Mark, I'm equally happy with the gear Mesa is putting out these days.
