will mark IV chassis fit into mark I reissue head cab? YES!

i know that a mark IV won't fit in an old original mark I cab, but will it fit in the reissue head cab?
according to pro net, they cabinets are the same size.

well it fit.
the holes lined up and everything.
the only thing is, if you have an older mark amp with the sus 4 mounting you have to use the small screws to mount it. those long ones that newer mark Iv's use are too long.
i came close to cracking right through the filter cap board.
luckily i didn't use my power screwdriver, and lucky i had some of the old style screws around.

Hello Jim, I am glad you like the headshell. I thought about keeping it but I didn't need it since I gave away the Studio Caliber (converted it back to a combo and gave it to a close friend). In the end the Mark I ended up in the wine headshell I originally ordered for the Studio Caliber. Best wishes, and enjoy the headshell.
