Will a Mesa 4x10 cab perform well as an "all around&quo

I've been GASSING for a Marshall 1960A 4x10 cab lately and, now that I own a Roadster, I'm wondering if a typical Mesa 4x10 cab would perform just as well (with other amps too, not just the Roadster)

all opinions and advice are greatly appreciated!

Mesa 4x12 cabs traditional or recto are great.

who uses them?

mark tremonti - alter bridge
adam jones - tool
the dudes from nickelback (they have great tone)

+ a lot others

I own a Roadster with a traditional 4x12 and I will not trade my 4x12 for any other cab.

IMO, Mesa cabs are 10x better than Marshall cabs

Thanks Barney,,, the 4x10 Mesa cabs seem to be pretty rare, but I'm gonna try finding one anyways...

Fyi I've got a Marshall 4x10 cab and I think it's great.

It gets close to the sound/thump of a 4x12 but it's way more portable.
