Hey dudes, I bought an old Mesa branded EVM-12L a couple months ago on ebay and inquired with Mesa about them installing it in a newly ordered cab. They said yes so I also asked if they could slap on a "Mesa/Boogie" badge so it would match my Mark V and other mesa amps/cabs (I really like that badge more than the others). They did it in a matter of a few weeks since I placed the call to Mesa to when I opened the box and fired her up. The EV is the speaker meant for this cab. If you like your thiele cab, but your Mark V is too wide, go this route. You will not regret it!

I went a similar route . Asked for a Boogie badge to match my MkV . I opted for a V30 instead of the C90 that comes standard . I used the EVl in Boogies for years but i've gotten away from that speaker . Glad you are happy with it though .

Sweet! I've been running my Mark V with a C90 wide-body and Mills 2x12 this year and it roars. Since I'm only playing at home, I recently unplugged the Mills and am loving the wide-body sound. I've never been a "speaker swapper," but your post has got me thinking.

The wide-body is a great single cab for Mark V home/studio/small stage playing.
The Mills is now up for sale. Waaay too much cabinet for playing at home.
