When I demo'ed the LSC at GC 4 years ago, I was so impressed with it, I bought it. Got it home and just had a ball. After the honeymoon, it was time to do some serious band settings, get the pedal board dialed in etc.
Thats when I began to noticed some difficulty in dialing in the 2 ch's OD sound that was not losing ch 1's character in EQ. It is not a clone! I'll be damned! I tried so many EQ adjustments over the next year to no avail. I really needed a clone because I play in a 3 piece. And needed a consistant tone when ch switching. It takes time to realize the short comings of ch 2's voicing and I would recommend to new LSC owners to get familiar with it first before doing the mods. I am sorry for being so pro-active on pushing the mods on new owners. As if the amp was sub-par with out it, and that's not the case. I bought the amp confident that it was the best I could find without spending twice as much.
