Who is your Fav. mesa player/endorsee?

dimebag was known to put marshalls in the back of the stage and put other amps out front for show...

Never heard about that but check this out at end of EQUIPMENT section, they're telling that the krank amps he use to play with were tube amps...interesting. I never thought about to look on wikipedia before today, there's too many good info there on everything you wanna know:

My 2 favorites are Ronnie Wood Mark III BS and Frank Zappa. Zappa played a Pignose and Marshall as well so I have trouble picking out the mesa in his songs.

Fletcher Dragge from Pennywise I think.

I could find my tone in a Marshall JCM900 nor a 5150, so I grabbed this cd booklet from my favourite Album at that time, and there was a gear pic in the back wich showed a rack with a studio pre, Mark IV and Str 400.

I sold the 5150 I owned at that moment and within a week I had a mark IV.
Never used other amps since.

Another band I really dig and uses Mark IV's is the Offspring.

My favourite Endorsee's list would be:

1 Pennywise(he uses crate now i believe, brrrr)
2 Offspring (are using mark IV's with VHT's)
3 Metallica(dont know what the hell they use nowadays.)

I'm surprised you didn't throw Melivin from NOFX in there.
