I have a fully functioning studio preamp, but inside there's a short white wire coming off the small silver transformer (facing the geq side) by the reverb that's loose, and judging by a bit of solder on a lug on the reverb that's where it was once connected.
Since it functions perfectly, I was wondering what it's actually supposed to do.
To add the the mystery, I've seen circuitry of other studios on ebay and some of them also have a disconnected white wire.
Can anyone shed some light on this, and should I try reconnecting it?
