Im building a new rig. Which power amp for my triaxis? 2:90? Or strategy 395 switchtrack? I play heavy stuff tuned down drop b drop a# goin to be using it in conjunction with another head. What do you guys think? Obviously clean is important but im talking about massive heavyness. Thanks any help would be great.

Never played a 2:90 but the 395 is amazing and has the flexibility of the switchtrack. The deep extend adds so much balls to the sound you will be amazed.

2:90 has the Modern mode which may be whatyou want for that massive heavyness, but then I've always felt "heavy" is a way of playing, not an amplifier.

The 2:90 is as heavy as hell if you want it to be. I'd say that if you had trouble being heavy enough with either amp it's because you don't know how to play heavy guitar!
