im having some crackle and noise issues and scratchy pots so its time to clean it up since the amp is a 96 recto...which contact cleaner is best to clean pots and tube sockets...plastic safe or not? and conductive or non conductive..?
 
Radio Shack Tuner Cleaner is what I use. Works great.

thanks fluff,,i see you have a fja modded recto..can you give an overview of that?...i have been e-mailing jerry about doing something to mine...what does yours sound like...his fh-100 sounds amazing from the clips i have heard.
 
I actually haven't received it back yet. Jerry got sick so its been in NYC for about a month now.

Soon as I do get it back there will be a full review on here for sure!
 
For scratchy pots you might want to try Doxit Fader Lube D5. It's better for pots because it cleans and lubricates. The sell it at the Guitar Center here.

I use DeOXiT as well. Good stuff.
