Guys I feel like such an idiot now.
After playing around with the amp, I discovered that when the gain is set to 12 o'clock is actually does provide me with a good bit gain, but in order to me achieve this sound, the amp needs to be turned up loud other wise the signal coming from the amp won't distort properly, also I noticed that, when it comes to the Recto regardless of how loud you turn them up, you should never set the presence on the amp to zero, because this will cause the amp to become muddy, which usually results in you also losing some gain in the process, but having said that it seems that the lower you set the bass knob on the amp the tighter the attack from the amp becomes, well that's what I think anyway.
But Ill post a clip, and let you guys decide for yourself.
