When people post serial #s, why do they do it like 135xx?

because unscrupulous people may report to the cops their IIc was recently stolen and they just saw it on "the boogie board" .. "it has the exact same serial number as the one shown" there are other scams they can try to run when they have your serial number. FWIW

yes, it is legal to hunt them ... i choose my Stihl chain saw as the weapon of choice generally - but have used my truck if they run faster than i do, which isn;t often.
