I just retubed my Racto and messed around with dialing it in some. Sounds better with the new tubes, more organic. I was having some trouble getting it to blend with my Marshall because it had just a hint of a plasticy sound but tonight I was able to get all that out. Really exciting, every time I record it I get a better sound, it's like I'm really starting to learn these beasts. Anyway here a quick clip of the Racto tonight with a Bogner 4x12, 57/421>Neves.

Nice.

It'll be nice having another set of ears around here. I think most people here are always looking to learn something new, and I suspect you'll have a different approach to sound than many of us.

This is a good place for us all to get together and learn. I'm 48 y/o and have been playing since I was 6 and I'm still on the tone quest. I spit this week for 10 days but when I get back I'm gonna really focus on this stuff. I really feel like I'm getting close to what I hear in my head.

Using the retubed Racto today in a session. Man it sounds so killer. MXR EQ in the FX loop and OCD inline just cracked. Dude is doing a solo with his V, almost sounds like Brian May. Really awesome.

Just got back in town and fired up the triple. Sounds killer. More intense and aggressive then the dual. More low end too. I haven't had a chance to record it yet but I will and get some clips up.

Ive been watching your Amp phase and blend vids most excellent man, im just learning home recording and that gives me tons of awesome tips.
Thanks so much for your work and sharing it!
