what year did the faceplate emblem change on mark iv's?

I ordered a replacement for my head that has never had the front emblem since I bought it. The screws are still there and are spaced quite far apart. I spoke to mesa and told them my head was built in 91 or 92 and they shipped me the smaller "Boogie" emblem. So Im just curious when that changed.

The face plate on mine reads "Mesa/Boogie". It's pretty long.

I assume they changed the size to the larger one around the time the MK IVa was phased out.

I've seen everything from prototypes up to late IV-Bs using both 'Boogie' and full 'M/B' logos, you could ask for either when you ordered (if factory direct) AFAIK.
