...that a Mark III, a Mark IV, a DC-3, and a Maverick don't already do?

I love the singing lead tones of the Marks, the DC-3 is a just a pocket Derringer in .45 cal, and the Maverick comes really close to those Duane Allman Marshall tones the Dark Side of me loves!

Should I be thinking about adding a Lonestar Classic to to my stable?

That's a nice collection of amps you got:)

I love my Lonestar, but haven't played a DC-3 or Maverick so I can't say what your missing. I've read some other threads that the Lonestar tones are similar to the Maverick, albeit more refined FWIW...

I sold my Mark IIC+ and replaced it with a Lonestar and a DR. The Lonestar has a much better clean and with a pedal can do Mark sounds easily. It also has a much better reverb than anything I've owned before. The tube rectifier really sweetens the leads up.
