What V1 tube to use on Dual Recto for Metal/hardrock tones?
I'm searching for something not too noisy and long lasting.
What do guys think about the Mullard Reissue,TS Reissue and C9 AX7?
Any Other tubes to recommend?
I use the GT 12AX7 Mullard in my Deuce... Sounds great. It gets rid of the extra high end. Tried it in my LoneStar and took too much high end away. The GT 12AX7 removes high end.
