Hi ramalam,

FWIW, I got a short head simul, green stripe, with G-EQ, no reverb, in excellent shape for $500 off ebay. I think this was more the exception than the rule, but the deals are out there. But a head in good shape with all options is probably averaging at or high $700s IMHO; more for excellent condition, of course.

i paid around $800 for mine (but I got a 4x12 mesa cab with it too)

Soooo, somewhere around $400.00 then?

I think $400 is a little unrealistic IMHO. A great deal, if you can land it, but its unlikely that someone would let it go for 400. I would say 800 +/- $50 is the going rate. I wouldn't pay any more than $850 for it. Goodluck!
