I used to be crazy about phasers but now I like chorus more. I've never been a big fan of flange though. Mild vibrato is nice. I would say that as of now chorus my modulation of choice.
Mostly chorus. I was into flangers for awhile but they are a little radical for playing in church. Chorus just gives the songs a little something extra.

My favourite is chorus, but I use an Electro Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger pedal to get the effect. It has beaten every chorus unit (pedal, rack, and amp) that I have ever used.
My A/DA Flanger covers all my modulation desires, although I do have a Boss Phaser 2 for a dryer phased tone. But honestly, the A/DA is just plain awesome for flange and chorus, clean or dirty.

I use tremolo (Voodoo Lab with my Express or the trem that's built into my Ampeg Jet and blackface Fender amps) and a Leslie rotating speaker simulator (H&K Rotosphere).
for some reason i've always loved the sound of a good phaser, even before i knew what it was that i was hearing. a great chorus is always good too though!
Thought I would resurrect this topic. I love all types of modulation and notice them in many different songs. The only pedal I do not own is a good vibe pedal. I have a DIY Phaser/Vibe pedal that gives me a vibe if I want, but I can get my Maxon CS-9 Pro Stereo Chorus to sound like a really good vibe.
