I personally prefer chorus. i have tried vibrato, tremolo, flanger, phaser but chorus just does it for me.

vibe is it, for me.

i use a fulltone mini deja vibe, set for chorus, on the vintage setting.
yum.

I used to be crazy about phasers but now I like chorus more. I've never been a big fan of flange though. Mild vibrato is nice. I would say that as of now chorus my modulation of choice.

Mostly chorus. I was into flangers for awhile but they are a little radical for playing in church. Chorus just gives the songs a little something extra.

with the jet planing effect

My favourite is chorus, but I use an Electro Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger pedal to get the effect. It has beaten every chorus unit (pedal, rack, and amp) that I have ever used.

so far definitely chorus...but I dream of a uni-vibe! 8)

any body else have the fortune of playing thru a jet Roland Jet Phasor ( ap-6 I think)??? think Bad Co Sky is burning"...i want one, but dey pricey!

Lately, been getting into some flange for funk soloing.

Oh, and chorus...who doesn't love chorus? I use a bit of chorus on clean stuff but stay away from it for any dirty stuff.

My A/DA Flanger covers all my modulation desires, although I do have a Boss Phaser 2 for a dryer phased tone. But honestly, the A/DA is just plain awesome for flange and chorus, clean or dirty.
ax. 8)

I use tremolo (Voodoo Lab with my Express or the trem that's built into my Ampeg Jet and blackface Fender amps) and a Leslie rotating speaker simulator (H&K Rotosphere).

Thought I would resurrect this topic. I love all types of modulation and notice them in many different songs. The only pedal I do not own is a good vibe pedal. I have a DIY Phaser/Vibe pedal that gives me a vibe if I want, but I can get my Maxon CS-9 Pro Stereo Chorus to sound like a really good vibe.

My modulation pedals:

Phaser - Red Witch Deluxe Moon Phaser, DIY Pedal
Tremolo - Catalinbread Semaphore
Chours - Maxon CS-9 Pro
Flanger - A/DA Flanger
Vibe - DIY Pedal
