What have I got here?

I got this cabinet on ebay several years ago. I thought I needed a 4x12 and I always wanted one with a big "Boogie" logo on the front but I haven't used it very much cuz it's big and heavy.I was wondering if any of you other mesa-philes had any obsevations about it...I think it's deeper than any other Mesa 4x12 I've seen. Were all the early ones this size or is this some kind of special issue?

Your cab is the bottom part of a full stack. It is not as common as the slant cab that would stack on top of it. Half stack configurations are usually with the slant cab mainly because they are more common.
