just wondering, what's your guys' chain effects wise. Also which reverb do you guys think is the best. I've got a few in mind but i want to see what you guys think so i can check your ideas out too. thanks!

As far as reverb, I moved into a Roadster :D I just could never get the loop in my '01 Triple to work good with anything I tried ('verb, delay etc.)

With the Roadster I use a G-Major in the loop. The delays are top notch, the reverbs sound real good (I use the spring 'verb in the Roadster), and the chorus is nice in low gain settings. Phaser is OK, as well as the pitch and harmony effects. Tremolo is good too, and the noise gate is great for high gain leads. With the 3-band EQ I can dial right in on my lead tone for some great sustain, especially for a Recto.

The best thing about it is that everything is MIDI controlled. With an Axess CFX4 to switch the 4 channels on the amp and the switching relays in the G-Major controlling the FX loop and Solo functions I can go from a big glassy clean chorus and delay FX sound to a straight up (loop switched out) Red Modern rhythm. On more stomp and I can be in my Orange Vintage Lead (solo switched on) channel with delay and noise gate (loop in), another stomp I'm in my Brit channel, straight up (loop out, Solo off).

Out front I have a Radial PB-1 Clean Boost, True Bypass Crybaby Wah, and an ISP Decimator NG.

I use a Morley Bad Horsie II Wah and an EB Volume Pedal...that's it.

As for reverb, I used to LOVE my EH Holier Grail...I HIGHLY recommend it!

I'll use a Digitech digital delay or Boss RV-3 in the loop, but I only use the delay settings, I've never been a fan of reverb.

in front of the amp, i have a boss tu-2 tuner, dunlop mr. crybaby super wah, and boss ns-2 noise gate (which i don't really need, but use it sometimes). in the loop, i run a boss dd-6 delay, boss rv-5 reverb, boss ce-5 chorus, and boss tr-2 tremolo. i had a boss compressor and acoustic simulator at one point, but sold them b/c i never used them. i use everything on my board. most often i use the wah and delay. use the chorus, reverb, and trem to add to some songs.

I plug into a Morley Bad Horsie 2, a Bodenhamer modded TS7, and into my Roadster, with a TC Electronic G Major in the effects loop. I barely use effects at all: some delay for leads, some chorus for cleans, and the gate set fairly aggressively for rhythm.

I'm almost to the point where I want to yank the G Major and just use the spring reverb for cleans and leads. The amp sounds so good by itself.

I run a boss tu-2 tuner, ns-2 noise supressor and boss super overdrive (clean boost setting only) this combined with an EMG 81 = CRUSHING SOUND. :)

i run guitar --> tremonti power wah ---> BYOC compressor( keeley spec)--> BYOC ts 808 clone --> amp
then in the loop i run loop send --> isp decimator --> boss RV-3 --> loop return
and i also modded the loop on ym 97 dual recto to series. i have been messing around with placement of the decimator tonight, i dont know if i like it better in or out of the loop... i have also been wanting a g-major, and a volume pedal or a midi controler that will do volume too.

The only thing I ever run in front of my amp is an ISP Decimator only when I'm playing at band volumes. Sometimes when I have to keep it quiet late at night I'll hit with a Maxon OD9. Otherwise it's straight into the amp!
