I changed out the stock MB speaker for a Scumback H75-65 and what a difference it has made. Lost all of the harshness that I was dealing with. Really has opened up the amp. I spent a good hour last nite on the 10 watt setting and am really liking what I hear. Since I don't use the 90 watt setting in my band, the 65 watt handling power is more than enough. What a great speaker Jim makes.......

It takes a bit to break in a speaker, but I agree that different speakers can totally change an amps tone. Enjoy your awesome amp!

What speaker did you replace... C90 or V30? Scumbacks are great speakers!

I put an Emi Tonker in my 112 Roadster cab replacing the V30 which is not broken in and though the Tonker is not my fav speaker, it greatly improved the tone. More balanced lows to highs, less harsh of course and definitely cleaner. Really improved the clean channel but 2 and 3 gains are more focused without the harshness.

The C90 in my combo is almost broken in and is starting to sound very good.
