Well I have sold the bb preamp but not the stiletto

The bb was very good but didn't get used that much. The MXR ZW just kinda matches the stiletto better to my ears.

So my new settings as follows and all clockwise.

tone 12
drive off

amp
master 11:00
presence off
bass dimed
mid 11:00
treble 13:00
gain between 15:00 and 18:00.
50 watt setting spongy and tube tracking. If I'm playing very loud I like it better at 150 watts.

These settings ended the shrill/brittle/to bright problem that almost had me selling this amp. My next move will be to trade my 2x12 recto cab for a 4x12 recto cab and I shall be at peace with the universe.

Channel two fluid drive.

And I also tried an eq in the loop and boosted the infamous 100 hz and that sound was unreal. It will send any recto home crying.
