So, I got my Mark V a few weeks ago and was tweaking it like a mad man, finding all the tones I want for my current songs. I used to get all my tone through a Boss GT playing through a Crate stack so, tweaking has always been a part of my guitar playing. Hahaha.
Anyway, I order the Mark V and a Vader 4x12. I have a nice setup; I just put some new pickups in my guitar and everything. I replaced the stock pickups in my 2008 PRS Custom 24 with a Seymour Duncan Jazz Model in the neck and a Bare Knuckle Nailbomb in the bridge.
Okay, everything's setup and I'm getting some amazing tones out of this beautiful amplifier. I never really played around much with high-end tube amps and all that jazz, but I have been researching new amplifiers for a couple months and, finally, went and bought the Mark V. I was pretty close to buying a brand new Triple Rectifier in a sparkle finish with matching Mesa 4x12 cab, or even a used Mark IV that a guy I knew was selling.
I got off topic again. So, everything is going great for a couple weeks and, then one day my clean channel wouldn't work. I messed with the tubes and saw that one wasn't lighting up. ****. So, I do know how to properly work this amp and everything so, there's really no reason for it to go out so fast. Regardless, I arranged for a new one to be shipped so, I can hear that beautiful clean channel again... What do you think could have been the problem. And, I guess, this was a short introduction, too.
