Volume Pedal advice

Hi have Roadster and would like to add a volume pedal. Since I have 2 different guitars with Seymour and EMG pickups, I am not sure what kind of pedal I should get (high or low impedance). My plan is to add the pedal in the effect loop, right before the delay. Any advice/feedback on that would be appreciated.

If you have an active guitar and a passive guitar, you will need two different volume pedals.

I had the Ernie Ball volume pedal that I was using for my Gibson... it worked great... until I plugged in my Washburn with EMGs... they totally fried the pedal within seconds. It actually even seized up.

Low impedance. Your guitar pickups won't matter here, as the pedal sees a line-level signal from the preamp.

OK thanks. So the loop works at line level ? So you can you add a delay or chorus pedal in your loop ?
