Volume Drop With Chorus Pedal

In the effects loop of my Roadster, I am running a delay, reverb, and chorus. When I turn on the chorus, the volume drops, is this a normal characteristic of a chorus pedal or do I have them set up wrong. I am running the pedals in this order: chorus, reverb, delay.

I am not familiar with the Hardwire chorus- do you know if there is an internal trim pot that you can adjust for the output? If not, maybe someone else here has a solution...
