Hi i have a recto preamp, i've noticed that when i do change to modern mode, the volume drops a little, and when i try to use the trick of the three channel switch, can i change the modern mode volume,(live-Output knob) but not the vintage mode volume (Live-solo knob)

The vintage mode volume is more high than the modern mode in every case.

The change of the 3 modes via footswitch works fine.

Thanks

What power amp do you have or are you playing direct?

I believe that is explained in the manual: If you have 2:100 Recto power amp, then you can use Modern -mode trigger switch to remove negative feedback from the power amp. Otherwise there is some volume drop. Separate volume controls become active only when using that modern trigger output, or at least that I've thought. Never had problems myself, I'm using vintage-mode as Lead solo sound and G-major controlling level issues. I don't know if it's possible to connect a chord to modern trigger output and not to put it anywhere connected -> getting that separate volume control for vintage mode? I don't if it's healthy for the unit or not.

thanks. i have a 2:Ninety Power Amp.

i have connected the modern trigger in the preamp to the modern trigger in the 2:ninety
