Hello everyone.
I bought my mesa in New York some days ago.
My problem, is that i'm living in Israel- we have 220V- not 110V.
So, I came home and connected my mesa to non appropriate transformer by a mistake.
This is what happened:

The varistor burned out, also my fuse. Everything else seem to by fine.
Now, my questions are:

What varistor I need? Which model? Where I can get it?
What fuse?
What transformer should I use? how many watts? Thank you!!!!!

Hey mate,

I had the exact same thing happening to me. Thank god for varistors!

You can get a replacement transformer from TubeAmpDoctor.com. The Varistor your need is a 130V version if you're gonna use your amp with a 220->110 step down transformer. If not, you need to replace it with a 250V varistor.

When replacing the transformer, take your time, and first plug the amp without tubes into a 220->110 step down, with the spongy power setting, and check with a multi meter that all voltages are correct.

Kind regards, Jake.
