Guys,

Ben playing my Roadster for some time now, and starting to prefer it over my old 2 channel. This thing is EVIL  . Been playing Sabbath After All ("Heaven and Hell" Era) and holy **** man, I'll be damned if this bad boy is not as good as the tone Tony Iommi was getting.

Over all VERY happy with this guy. The other beauty of this amp is channel 2. It took me about 1 month to get this where I wanted it, but its a nice take on a modern type plexi pushed. however if you are thinking this amp can be a plexi, you will be disappointed.

Overall 4 USE-ABLE channels!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have EL34's in my 2 channel, and plan on keeping this 6L6. If anyone can get some clips with it in EL34 that would be cool...... but I guess I can also experiment for a day... .

i wouldn't mind to see your settings for ALL channels. I'm glad you are liking it! I'm digging mine as well. I'm running it with dual EV loaded thieles and it sounds killer, but I can't help but wonder what a 2x12 recto cab would sound like! OR what the 2 thieles AND a 2x12 recto cab would sound like!!!

Even line6 is better than his tones

I use a Boss BD 2 (Keeley modded) to push my roadster. It loves this pedal. Channel 2 benefits the most form it. I keep the toggle switch up.

All numbers represent the position on a clock

Clean Channel I

Presence 12:20, Bass 12, MIDS 11:45 Treble 1:30, Gain 10

Channel II BRIT

Presence 9, Bass 3, MIDS 11 Treble 11, Gain 3

Channel 3 (Vintage or Modern) This setting sounds like a Modena

Presence 11 Bass 1 Mid 9 Treble 12 Gain2

Chanel 4

Presence9:30 Bass 1 Mid 11 Treble 12:30 Gain 2

Volumes vary as It depends what time or where I am playing. My signal flow is as follows right now:

Humbucker guitar -> Diamond comp -> Dunlop DSR 2 Rack Wah -> Analogman KOT --> Keeley BD2 -> Analogman Bi-chorus -> /13 switch hazel -> Roadster ->Bogner 4x12 strait with V30's or Bogner 2x12 with v30's

The chain will switch to the following:
Humbucker guitar -> Diamond comp -> Dunlop DSR 2 Rack Wah -> Analogman KOT --> Keeley BD2 -> Analogman Bi-chorus -> TC Vintage Delay-> looper type pedal with a tuner out and a DD2 and Boss BF2 in the loop of that pedal -> Roadster ->Bogner 4x12 strait with V30's or Bogner 2x12 with v30's

Cables on the board are a hodge pdge of stuff between monster, mogami and George L's. Once that is finalized I will order some better cables form lava man. The guitar to board and board to guitar cables are Van Den Huls.

NOTE. The van den huls forced me to modify my amps setting. The cable allowed more of my tone to come through. therefore my settings may look different than what they were when I originally made the post.

I am REALLY liking this amp.

Someday I'll get aruond to getting the effects loop going...

Roadster's kick ***. Even more so with the FX loop switched out of the circuit. I love mine :)

Ciao ...

I've got my eye on the Roadster. If it remotely sounds like Iommi from Live From Radio City Music Hall, than I'm one step closer to buying one. What a great show!! Can you get similar tones to John Petrucci or Michael Romeo from the Roadster? Romeo's tone on Paradise Lost is flat out SICK

Not into Romeo's stuff. I am not making it up, to me its **** close with the 6L6's through my rig (read previous posts)

If its not PM me and we can talk about it...

Have you heard SX's latest Paradise Lost? It has some of Romeo's finest grooves. Most people either love or hate technical music like SX. For heavy music, Romeo's tone takes the cake IMO. BTW, I'm checking out a Roadster 2x12 combo on Monday 8)
