Used Mark IV-Short head

I have a deal for a used Mark IV for 1000$.
It's a short head with good tubes on it.
I already own a thiele cab to go with it.
What do you think???
Is it a good deal or should i wait for a better deal on mark IV when the famous Mark V become available...

I wouldn't count on that. No telling what the IV will do and even if they drop one day people will start buying them again. I would offer the guy $800 and you will steal it for nine!
