Murphy's Law..."what can go wrong will go wrong" And usually right away..No matter how you feel about the issue of untouched or floor unit...Do yourself a favor..at the store (If that is where you are getting your amp), Insist on opening it up , and testing your amp at the store. If any tubes are damaged... In shipping, it will show up right away..Why do we think they put those little plastic webs on the tubes????HMMMMM. I really thing Mesa should ship the tubes in a special shock proof box, with instuctions for installing them. would save a lot of grief...
