underpowered rectifier because of a voltage drop

last weekend we had a gig, the gig was outdor..so far so god

at somepoint my volume dropped because the electricity (current) dropped...and we where forced to finish the set with this issue..

i don't have a voltage regulator yet,
how much a voltage drop affects the tubes , power transformer and electronics?

Tubes last longer. Sound gets browner.
It's what the "Spongy" setting does.
