Two Channel Dual Rectifier with EL34s & rectifier switch

Hey guys did a search but didn't come up with anything. I know when I had my three channel dual, it was recommended to run the amp in tube rectifier when using the el34s

When running el34s in the Two Channel rec, must you also use the tube rectifier or is silicon diode okay to use? The two channel user manual and rear of the actual chassis says nothing about using only the tube rectifier, unlike the three channel.

You can use either setting, it really doesnt matter. I think they recommended tube rectification to get the most out the amp, but setting it on the silicone diodes wont hurt anything.

it just raises some voltages and will wear the tubes faster, IIRC.
