Tubes Glowing Blue

it is normal. tubes have a faint blue/purple glow to them when power is put to them.

Yeah that happened when I owned an F-50. I flipped out and called Mesa right away. :lol:
They assured me it was normal.

if you get a blue glow, don't worry. all power tubes don't do it, but there is no problem if they do. I kinda dig when the glow intensifies corresponding with your playing...my drummer used to get mesmerized when I had my open backed combo on stage in front of him - and he doesn't drink or do drugs!
