Tubes for Triaxis, Petrucci sound, Dual Recto tone

I am going for a Petrucci tone and want my Triaxis to sound more like a Dual Rectifier. Are there certain tubes that would do that?

What Preamp tubes is everyone using, especially Petrucci fans? Doug at Dougs tubes suggested
V1 - Tung-Sol reissue 12AX7
V2 - High gain JJ ECC83S
V3 - Penta Labs 12AX7C
V4 - Shuguang 12AX7C9
V5 - Sovtek 12AX7LPS


Let me know your thoughts, he said this is what they are putting in Rectos and should help me get there.

That's pretty close to where I ended up in my Roadster.

V1 Tung-Sol
V2 JJ High Gain
V3 Penta Labs
V4 & V5 Mesa Russian 2 (EH)
V6 Either a Mesa Russian 2 or the Sovtek LPS, both feel good to me there.

SED =C= SV6L6GC for power tubes.

All from Doug's Tubes, and they sound great together. Pure Recto.
