Tubes for DC-10

Anyone have any recommendations for power and preamp tubes in a DC-10? Higher gain sounds mostly, with good growl. I had tung sol 12ax7s in my mark III and loved em. They added a little more harmonic juice. This one might not need it though, but I'm willing to experiment.

Thanks to ams2ek for the DC-10 i traded the mark III for. This thing sounds great. The mark was a beauty, and it's tone was unmatched, but the DC is a bit more my thing... A little more resonant, and not as tight.

A lot of people recommend the SED Winged C tubes.

I have them in my DC-5 and my brother has them in his Triple Rec.
