Just wondering where you guys like to get your tubes.

I want to do some experimenting with the preamp and the only suppliers I'm familiar with are Mesa (limited selection), JJ/Eurotubes (mixed reviews), and Groovetubes (reviews seem to say they are expensive, rebranded, cheap tubes).

Anyone have a reputable dealer that's familiar with Boogies (specifically a Mark IV)?

I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with Eurotubes. Done lots of business with them and have never had anything less than stellar service and support. Also dealt with Dougs Tubes (http://www.dougstubes.com). Doug is amazing! And - he does more than JJ tubes. Probably the most knowledgeable tube guy around.

I've had good experiences with both Doug and Eurotubes. I've received Lord Valve's email list; he seems knowledgeable and has a good selection, but I've never ordered anything from him.

I ve had good luck with The Tube Store in Canada and The Tube Depot in
Memphis.Fast delivery from both and the prices appear to be identical.

Thanks guys!

I'm in Canada so The Tube Store looks like a great option, good prices and I can go pick em up!

The tube store's grading system is great. Mention you're using a Boogie and what model (any fixed bias amp for that matter) and they'll send you the perfect tubes for it.
