yeah i figured ud have to soder it into a circuit board or something. anyone know how much it is to get done?

Any qualified tech can do it and it's not expensive. Most techs charge a minimum bench fee - so whatever that is is probably what it'll cost.

What is currently wrong with your sockets? Are buying high quality ceramic sockets ? To install them is simple the trick is draining the power capacator to eliminate lethal electric charges. To solider the new sockets in is just matching the leads in the amp to the sockets end pins. If you are not handy with a soldering iron have a tech do it. Rember the voltages in the amp are LETHAL and can kill you.

Depends.

But you can call Mesa and ask for an authorized repair center in your area.
